Templemore College of Further Education is proud to have offer its students an international dimension to their studies through the Erasmus+ Programme.

The Erasmus+ programme is an EU-funded programme for education, training, youth and sport, which runs from 2014-2020. It provides opportunities to travel, study and participate in work experience abroad.

Our students have the opportunity to undertake a three or four-week work placement in Tenerife and Perpignan. The students will work in various local companies, depending on their vocational area.

Once the student’s application has been successful they receive funding towards the cost of their flights, accommodation and living expenses while abroad. Cultural awareness and language classes are mandatory as part of the programme.
